We seem to be in a very bad apocalyptic movie. If Dario had swayed just a bit more, he'd have turned straight into an inflatable skydancer. Oh my god, the man had such an urge to genuflect before his master, it's not even funny.

Each of these sinister billionaires is playing their role. One of them plays the voice of reason, like Dario. Another will assure that everything will be ok, like the lizard Zuck - and all of them will dance for their king, repeating his claims about the need to "win". To win against China of course. Finally, the self-fulfilling prophecy (remember "Gina" from those 2016 SNL sketches) - the need to create an archenemy. By the way, the enemy's development was wildly sped up by imposing tariffs and sanctions. The only thing is that if there's a real war in the USA against AI, it won't be against Chinese AI. It will probably be about these oligarchs trying to control, in the name of "national security" or even "world security," the "rebellious human elements".

Dario: I As the president has said, you know, whoever wins AI wins. I think that's very important. But I think the technology has very real risks.
