Sometimes you just undersell your work because you want to be sincere, but it doesn't seem to pay off at first.
- Well, if you don't publish digitally, I think you really shouldn't print a Zig book before the language reaches 1.0. It is changing. Sometimes dramatically. I really don't want to convince you otherwise.
We will keep in touch. You know how that sounds. Later, you start feeling that you couldn't sell a broom to your own mother to save your life - you just can't bring yourself to say "this is an amazing opportunity" without adding "but you probably don't need it" - though still, somewhere in the backend of your brain, just by the coffee machine beside the office door, there is a Post-it: "Don't forget that you have children and pets to take care of, and food to buy".
Today I'm going from optimism to the abyss in short bursts; maybe it could be called optibyssm. But I consider myself lucky to be able to write some Zig on my computer, write about it, draw a bit. In the age of AI - who will care? I do.
